The Allure of Adventure is a lifestyle blog that focuses on not only my all-time favorite travel experiences and tips, but also blogging and bullet journal tips to help you organize every aspect of your life.
A little about me…
In 2016, I had my very first child, a beautiful baby boy. My husband and I decided that it was cheaper and better for us as a family if I stayed home to take care of our son.
After the first few months, I was ready to pull my hair out. Being stuck in our house all the time with a tiny, screaming human (who I totally love, don’t get me wrong!) was taking its toll on me, and I knew I needed to do something about it. So, with no real direction or plan, I started a blog.
Originally known as Dream Creative Daily, my blog was a way for me to have a creative outlet and organize my thoughts. Eventually, I realized even though I was the one staying home with our son while my husband worked, that didn’t mean I couldn’t make some sort of income, too.
And so, that’s exactly what I did. In less than 6 months, I’d already made back what I’d invested into my blog, and then some.
It didn’t happen overnight, of course. But here’s the good news for you guys: I learned from my mistakes. Now that I know exactly what I should’ve done from the beginning to earn money from blogging, I can help you so that you don’t have to make my same mistakes.

What I blog about
Aside from blogging about blogging, I also love to discuss the bullet journal. I’m a huge bullet journal fan, and I truly believe anyone and everyone can find a use for it.
If you don’t know what the heck a bullet journal is, read this post.
Whether you’re trying to organize and design a meal plan for the family, or just get a list of appointments for the year, the bullet journal is most certainly for you.
I also love to travel. If you are someone who has the desire to travel the world, but think that you don’t have the means to do so, I want to encourage you to travel anyway. We live such short lives, that letting the little things stop us from connecting and indulging in other cultures is truly heartbreaking.
The biggest misconception regarding travel is that it costs so much money. But there are plenty of budget-friendly ways to travel the world, for much cheaper than you would think. Don’t let this misconception stop you from traveling!
Whether it’s money, family, or time stopping you from traveling, I hope you can learn from this blog and be inspired to make travel a priority, despite your circumstances.
And, overall, I hope this blog helps you find adventure in the little things. After all, that’s what it’s all about!
