When it comes to bullet journaling, everyone’s got those supplies that they can’t live without. I’ve definitely got my fair share of tools that I love, and today I thought I’d share them with you! While I have mentioned them before, in this post, I want to go a little more in-depth and explain why they’re such great supplies!
If you haven’t started a bullet journal yet, check out this guide!
This is one of the most popular bullet journal brands out there, and it’s not hard to see why! I’ve actually got a pretty in-depth review of these journals here, but for this post let me just say that this journal has been SO AMAZING for my bullet journal.
With a built-in index and pagination, it’s made it much easier to keep up with my individual pages. So far I’ve only tried the hardcover versions, but they’ve definitely been super sturdy and I love the perforated pages in the back! I hate ripping out pages to get a scrap piece of paper, so it’s nice to always have a perforated page handy!
My husband actually bought this pen set for me on a whim one day (isn’t he the sweetest? Surprising me with art supplies, he knows me so well!) and they’ve turned out to be my favorite pens for bullet journaling!
There are so many different widths and styles, this pen set can basically do it all! I love that this also comes with larger tips for brush lettering.
A while back, I bught these for myself after seeing a lot of amazing journalists using them online, and WOW I’m so glad I did!
I got the pastel pack, and I seriously love the colors! They are really bright on the pages of my journal, which is a huge plus! Sometimes certain colors can look faded on a page, so I was really happy these didnt.
Here’s an example of a page I used my Tombow pens on, just as an example 🙂
Ever since, like third grade art class, I’ve loved kneaded erasers. Growing up, my parents ALWAYS got me at least one kneaded eraser for Christmas, that’s how much I love these things.
Since I like to outline my spreads in pencil first, my favorite thing about kneaded erasers is their ability to erase pencil lines without leaving all of those little eraser shavings! Kneaded erasers don’t leave anything behind on the paper! Plus, I’ve never had a kneaded eraser smear any pen line. EVER.
The ONLY problem I’ve ever had with kneaded erasers in the past is sometimes they can become sticky. This totally depends on the brand, though. The one I currently have does it a little, but I think it’s because I’ve left it in its wrapper for so long that it became stuck to it. Other than that, no problems! This brand is by far my favorite I’ve used so far.
Seriously, if you’ve never tried a kneaded eraser, I highly recommend them! Some brands are not as good-quality, but even the amazing ones are super cheap.
Okay, if you’ve read this post, you know how amazing washi tape is! There are so many neat little washi tape tricks and hacks out there for bullet journaling that I think it’s a necessity that every bullet journalist have at least one roll of washi tape, although I’ve probably got at least 10 (I have no self-control haha.)
Whelp, there you have it! What bullet journal supplies can you not live without?
